It’s heart and soul is the wonderful owner Carla, who gives more of herself than she should to ensuring the dancers in her care are treated fairly whilst being given tuition. Dancing involves a certain amount of discipline, and Carla and her teachers deliver their classes with the right amount of care and discipline to get some excellent results. My daughter has been dancing with this studio for 4 years now, and I have never felt it wasn’t the right place for her to be. Not all studios work for all types of dancers (or parents/carers), but if you’re looking for a truly inclusive, passionate, dedicated team to nurture your baby ballerinas into dancers able to perform across different genres, then this is the studio for you in Whangarei. I feel so lucky to have come across Just Dance 7 years ago when my daughter finally convinced me to look into ballet classes for her. Not only did my shy 4 year old join in classes, she developed her self confidence to the point where she now enters competitions. She has moved from ballet to doing 4 different dance genres and this is because of Carla and her incredible support and encouragement. We have seen Carla grow from holding a few classes in a hall to having a wonderful dance studio with fantastic teachers working alongside her to build a community. On top of that, Carla has supported me through some Pilates classes after being in an accident.
