Kidz Korner — Local services in North Island

Giving this score is pretty disappointing because for the most part it’s a very cool spot for the kids, and my kids love it. The reason for the 1star is because I have a 9 month old baby that’s dairy intolerant and so I always bring snacks for her, also there’s nothing healthy that I can give her that on the menu most places we go. Today I had the rudest customer service because I had given my daughter food from home. I do understand the no food policy but when there’s allergies, or it’s a baby surely that rule becomes redundant.

Replying to the owner / manager - saying another child was eating the rice and chicken is an absolute lie as it was unopened. We had a very bad experience for the first visit. The facility is small and kids told me there was just a little flying fox at the back. It charges $19.90 per child. For the money value it is way over priced. We bought a large chips and chips can barely cover the bottom of the plate for the price of $8.50.Some staffs were not really friendly and helpful. And their policies weren't fairly applyed on everyone. ( not sure whether its because we are Chinese). Some people being told off for bringing food n drink for the kids and some people pulled out packs of Dorito chips and Up n Go drinks without getting in trouble. We had to pay high prices for the food n drink there. Dont think we will go back there again. We very much support local small business as we understand how hard these days are. Great place but maybe should have a limit on how many people are in the building as last weekend while going it was so crowded it was beyond overwhelming. Lots of stuff for the kids to do if over 1 year old but the workers and PARENTS need to supervise the kids better as i took my under 1 year old to the area you werent ment to be older than 4 in and there was big kids running through the VERY SMALL area, jumping around me and my baby up on the ledges etc. Making it literally unsafe for me to not be standing with my baby holding her out the way at times.
