Executive on Fenton — Hotel in North Island

2 night 2 rooms. We went to a function on Wednesday night came home late with McDonald's, we were talking eating in our room. Knock at door, guy from admin, asks are you having a party, we said no just maccas. Clerk on- Starts pointing at my hubby, asking him whos your Boss, whos your Boss!!! Because of your hospitality, rude, judgement, stand over physique, you annoyed my husband. Who stepped you out!

Dont look at us like that, just because its your motel. You are in our country, on our whenua, understand that! 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

If we didnt have an important function on that week in Rotorua, we would have left.

Definately be aware of this motel, quite rude, guy who was working on 7th Feb Wednesday afternoon 5:30 pmish to Thirsday 8 th Feb Thursday morning and was still on at 1:30pmish.

We were disappointed with our stay. The room did not reflect the 4-star rating advertised on Booking.com — it felt more like a basic motel. For the price we paid, it was definitely not worth it.

Customer service was lacking. When I asked for a hardcopy receipt, the staff member questioned why I wanted one and refused to print it, saying Booking.com had already sent one. This was unprofessional and inconvenient.

The room had several issues: the hot tub had regular water (not mineral hot spring water), the shower cubicle was yellowing with unclear glass, there was no lock on the toilet door, and the bed was overly bouncy — any movement from my partner shook the whole bed. On top of that, they only provided one small box of milk for two guests.

Really nice overnight stay. The King size bed was amazing, crisp and clean as was the entirety of the apartment. The spa bath (upstairs apartment) was awesome & fast to fill. Improvements could be a light above the bathroom basin and a long length mirror. No Air Con along with only two windows that can only be opened a smidge was a little daunting as the room was warm overnight, however there was a great fan that worked really well. Didn't see the point in having Sky available when the Motel didn't have Movie Channels included :-( Our kitchen was appropriately equipped with everything needed, our check in was pleasant and we enjoyed watched the family dogs antics the next morning, the best boy ever, which certainly reflects on the dog's owners.
