Absolutely HORRIFIC experience with un-knowledgeable staff! My sister went to this store to sign up for a new account and purchase new devices for a total of 3 phones. When they got back to our house one of the sims was faulty leaving my niece without a phone number working. Since the store was closed by the time we realised the sim didnt work, we had to phone spark online and were told we had to go back in to the store. This morning while my niece and nephew were at school my sister had to go back to Tauriko to the Crossing where another woman somehow disconnected my nephews phone number while he was at school and essentially did a sim swap to my nieces phone. She left thinking that the phone was working and then could not get a hold of my nephew to find out where he was because when she rang him it was ringing my nieces phone which she had. This meant my nephew was stranded in the rain with no way to contact anyone so we knew where to pick him up after a trip he went on and he had to walk home in the pouring rain unable to contact anyone so they knew where he was. Once we find him, we phone spark again and are told they cannot fix this situation and we would have to go BACK to Spark inside the Tauranga Crossing yet again (the 3rd time we've been inside this store since purchasing new phones and signing up for Spark service only yesterday). They are on their way back AGAIN right now to hopefully get this sorted. This store needs training. This is absolutely ridiculous and inconvenient for them to go through all of this. The lovely man on the phone issued them a $99 credit, which to be honest is absolutely ridiculous given the amount of issues they've caused. 3 months of service would have been a bit better and this should have never happened in the...
Read moreI am very disappointed in the service received from the Tauranga Crossing Spark on 2 separate occasions. First occurring last week I went in asking to be shown how to buy extra storage on my iPhone to be told “I don’t know you should ring apple, otherwise your only options are to delete everything off your phone or buy a new one with extra storage” I knew this wasn’t right so I went to your bayfair store who within seconds helped me log into my iCloud and i still had 100 of my 128 gb available. This was terrible advice from the crossing. Your staff need better training and better attitudes.
Second occurrence was my 83 year old grandma who went into the Tauranga crossing store on her own to ask for some advice regarding what plan she should be on. The lady told my grandma she was only able to have a prepaid plan because her “credit score was declined” and wasn’t accepted to be on any other plans. This was absolutely not correct. My grandma mentioned that the result must be wrong, your spark team member told my grandma that “this is what happens with you old people who come in here talking down to us” this is disgraceful behaviour towards the elderly. My grandma left the store that day feeling sick to her stomach. My grandma eventually went into bayfair and discussed plans with them who gave her great service and without fail successfully put her on the correct plan without any issues. After reading previous google reviews we are not the only customers unhappy with Tauranga...
Read moreTwice I have come to this store to renew my contract and upgrade my phone, twice the service has been appalling. The first trip, the (male) rep would only ask questions to and look at my partner regardless of the fact that it was MY purchase and I knew exactly what I wanted. The second trip the sales assistant couldn't have seem less interested if she tried, two other reps were talking badly about a customer who had just left right next to us and to top it off the phone I was told was in stock to order and would be shipped within a week is completely sold out country wide and I can't get an ETA on when I'm receiving my new device. Don't come here, go to the Bayfair store. The level of customer service and competency is...
