Krung Thep Thai Street Food (Tauranga) — Restaurant in North Island

Disappointing and no value for money here. I have been here quite a few times over the few and experienced it's slow decline in food quality and value for money.

They have steadily skimmed the quality of food back, for example I purchased recently a thai street food salad with prawns that apparently had a mixed sald, tomatoes, chopped roasted peanuts and prawns and paid $22. It was sliced carrot, 7 pieces of greenery (spinach i assume) i small piece of tomato and small sprinkle of chopped nuts you would likely find in an ice cream shop and a special mention goes out to the 5 defrosted prawns on top.

Khao Soi Gai (egg noodles in yellow curry) chicken option, absolutely delicious, served with rice on the side. Rice not needed as dish very filling. Papaya Salad: I was surprised to see this on the menu. Asked if the Papaya was in season, was misunderstood I think, cos the answer was yes. Salad arrived, I pointed out the swede substituted and was told that in NZ we call it Papaya. Nevertheless the dish was delicious and crunchy but the medium heat ordered was totally missing. First time we ordered dinner through uber with you, we ordered a curry and a meat dish with extra rice for $3.
