Place looked nice. Stopped in and asked for a table for two, we were seated. I could see it was busy but if you seat someone then that says you have capacity. Had our order taken, nice simple nachos and I tried twice to ask for a kids burger, but they didn't seam to understand that the menue had a section for 'Little humans' and a burger was ordered. I was never given a time frame but I overheard other people being told of the wait time, so I assumed we had got there at the right time to be served within a reasonable time. After 30mins I asked how far away the food was. The wait staff asked the lady in charge who I heard her comment of 'it will get there when it gets there'. I tried to explain that we actually had somewhere to be and then they realized our order was ready to serve. Food was ok. Adults burger was served to a little human which I discovered when paying. I said not to worry as enough time had been lost waiting for the food and we needed to go. We were never told about the wait time, and never even got offered a bottle of water for the glasses that were on the table.

We highly recommend Tauriko Pub. We went for Heather's birthday with a group of 25 people last Sunday. We would like to say a big Thank you to Sandy for making Heather's birthday party really easy, fun and relaxed. Cocktails, drinks and food were delicious ans serve on time. Even I could bring my own birthday cake.

The venue worked so well we could not have organized it as well if we had planned it: the shuffle board for the teen aged kids and the toy area for the little ones. Also, the other customers that came in for a meal were able to carry on separately and the ones that came in for a drink had the tables on the deck.

Most importantly we very much appreciate your accommodating and relaxed way of dealing with organizing the whole do.
