IPPIN RAMEN & BOWL — Restaurant in North Island

Based on the food I ordered, I would give them a 3.8 star rating. I ordered the karaka pork ramen and their pork gyoza bathed in chilli oil topped with fried shallots. Like a previous review I read, the pork was disappointing. It was a very thin slice that was mostly fat (only 2 slices) which I would compare similar to bacon. The egg was cold but it did heat up in the broth. The flavour of the egg and broth were both delicious. I didn't like the flavour of the gyoza mixed with the chilli oil. I’m not one to complain but also as a long time fan of Ippin I feel the need to. Today I went to get a small bowl. It’s gone up in price which I didn’t mind because it’s good and I expected to get what I normally get. But this was not the case. I was dissatisfied and disappointed. Very annoyed with there treatment of my son . He went for job interview and did a trial day. Then was told he would get the job. But they just had to get go ahead from owner. He went back after two weeks of not hearing from them and again was told he would be hired but they just waiting for owner to give the go ahead. He went back again (now a month passed) only to be told he would not be employed by them because they didn't want to employ a kiwi!!!!
