Very disappointed with my first and only visit here. Had a table booked for lunch time for a group of 6, the man serving us spoke very poor english and was even struggiling to take our order even when we were pointing to the menu. After about a 45min wait and still no sign of our drinks or entrees the chef came out of the kitchen to check our order, and what do you know one of the mains was missing, problem fixed and off she went. Not long after that our food arrived, entree first followed closely by staggered mains. By this stage 2 of our 6 people had their drinks(cans of coke). After an hour and a half of being there and having had eaten our food we wondered where our traditional Vietnamese coffees were for the other 4 people, soon he arrived with 1 of them, then went back to make the other 3, during that time a huge crown of Vietnamese people arrived, 10mins after that and them blocking up the whole resturant and trying to find tables, he came over to us and told us he was so busy and no time to make our drinks. As soon as we got up from the table the big crowed took our seats. It was obvious they diddn't want to lose the sale of them dining there, so best option was to kick us out..so rude not to mention racist!! Will not waste my...
ย ย ย Read moreThe food is great.Been here many times for dine in. First time to order takeaway for pick up. But the service of this lady who introduce herself as the Manager is rude, seems like no manners at all. Ordered takeaway for pick up because were busy working. Told her specific time for pick up ( 40mins) but when I arrived to pick up my order, it wasn't cook and i have to wait. So my complain was what's the purpose of calling ahead of time to order my food and end up waiting? The Manager was just laughing at me ...and hang up the phone๐ C'mon if your food is great but the service is bad goodluck to your business.I guess you need to undergo training! Cheers...
ย ย ย Read moreMy husband and I were in Palmerston North for two nights, on holiday. We saw the good reviews for Pho Nem, and wanted to try Vietnamese food, so went there for dinner on the first evening. Liked it so much we had lunch there the next day. And then dinner that night, trying different things! Really enjoyed the fresh flavours. A pleasant decor with Vietnamese photos on the wall. The front of the restaurant is full-length glass, so you can look out across the road at the trees in the square.... such a lovely outlook. The service is friendly and efficient. A no-fuss, fresh-and-flavoursome-food restaurant....
