Turkish Delight kebab cafe — Restaurant in Palmerston North

Ordered two kebabs with sauces on both. While eating mine I could not taste the hot chilli. My wife said she could not taste any sauces. I then realised i had no sauces! The food was therefore quite bland in flavour. We paid $37 online. I phoned to inform them. I was told they would give me 15% discount, then she came back and said her boss said we could get 10% discount. We have been going to this place for more than 20 years . It's sad as we have enjoyed the food but if they are not decent enough to look after a good customer- goodbye!!! I have just received a phone call the manager, she was really apologetic about the error. She has offered a free meal. I accept her apologies and will return! Many thanks...

It was served with Turkish style rice cooked with risoni, tabouli, deep fried ball, made from ground chickpeas, mixed with fresh coriander, onion, celery, parsley spices. salad: lettuce, carrot, beetroot. sauces: hummus, garlic yogurt.💟🙂 It was yummy, and delicious.🙂💟 Love goes to this man, who prepared this meal, and served me in a genuine manner, with beautiful genuine smile on his face in a caring manner, Light is also shown on his suffering free true path, as soon as possible. Thank you very much.💟💟💟💟🙂 I did feel spiritually good sitting, and eating there. The atmosphere was friendly, homely, with magazines and comfortable place to sit, and I also felt loved, and cared for....

It's okay, but definitely the worst of all the kebab places we've tried in Palmy.

It's not bad by any stretch of the imagination (if you've ever had a really bad kebab from anywhere then you'll know about it!), but given the quality is just okay, the portion sizes (take out) are tiny to the point I could easily eat two (tiny containers compared to the other kebab houses, and not even filled half full).

Normally when I get a kebab in Palmy I'm either absolutely stuffed afterwards or have leftovers for the morning.

It is a bit cheaper than its competitors, but given the tiny portion sizes, and the mediocre quality, the value just isn't there.
