If you arrived after 09:30 I strongly suggest you park in the area next to the Primary School, don't troll up n down looking for a park, you just add to the congestion. Market (1) is 99% hand crafted hot/cold food of all types, from Oysters to cheeses, fruit, meat, breads, oils,fish etc. Dedicated area where you can order off a menu and have cooked. Hot coffee stall gets hammered on the cnr. Whangateau Roses ( perfection) sell loose and bouquet roses. Many stall offer try before you buy. BNZ ATM onsite by the Art Gallery, just look for the que. Market (2) is up above first market at the Old Packhouse. Primarily hand crafted wares of various kinds incl clothing, kitchen ware, antiques, books, jewellery, leatherware, artifacts, antiques, honey, plants etc. No second coffee stall up here. Black Dog Cafe at roadside, 4 Square, Real Estate, Hotel, Beach clothing, Rusty Pelican Eatery, Gas Station, Pattiserie, Liquor Store, Dairy, public toilets, Ice cereal Parlour, Deli, Chemist, Movie...

Weather this weekend was great.

Food courts are pretty good, especially the fish tacos and the coffee and croc outlet. Plus Mike's smoked fish products are awesome, with a good variety of fish, you can't beat his kingfish.

Roger's honey booth is a must, possibly the cheapest best quality honey anywhere.

The pie shop outlet, give that one from my point of view a miss, not worth the visit $8.00 for a grey mushy steak pie, more like a sloppy mince pie, better choice at Euro.

Jimmy's sauces are to die for, and if you can handle hot, then this is the place your place.

Some nice things, but not much of local fresh fruit and vegetables… More like a cafes and lunch style food in an open space but sorry to say: so many are overpriced . Also, although it’s an open air place you are not allowed to walk through with your dog(under control/on lead)🙄The dog sitting provided( payed) is in a very small area. Can be a bit stressful with so many dogs together. Considering the amount of people that go there, would be a good idea to upgrade the “dog area”and provide a...
