Matakana Luxury — Hotel in Rodney

I stayed here for three weeks, not for vacation but for work, and having a great, comfy place to come home to at the end of a long working day really helped me destress and recharge my energy. The staff were attentive and helpful; for instance, my sliding door got jammed one time well past working hours, yet they still managed to fix it. There are just a few minor issues, though not enough to lower my rating to four stars: they should check and thoroughly clean the Nespresso machine’s water tank since it has some brown stains at the bottom, which I have to clean before using the machine. Additionally, I hope they install some lights at the back end of the villa leading towards the rubbish area, as I almost tripped there due to the lack of lighting along the fences. Finally, pest control would be beneficial because there were black ants at the edges of the kitchen sink near the fridge area. As for the villa's interior.. well, the photos...

Honestly, this villa was everything we hoped for and more. Every little detail in the villa just felt so considered and luxe without being over the top.

The space was super clean, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed, we barely wanted to leave the place! Whether we were lounging by the pool, enjoying a slow morning coffee, or just soaking in the peaceful vibes, it all felt so calm and private.
