Jin Jin — Restaurant in Rodney

We’ve been there twice before, just after opening and 2 years ago and it was all great. We went back this week and got disappointed. Although portions are generous,the food quality and flavours are average. Some of the chicken pieces tasted a bit “old”.(?)in the three dishes we ordered. The Pad Thai tasted exactly the same as the one I make at home using the paste from the jar(supermarket). But maybe I am just a good cook!!

Please review what you do/ cook the chicken, like I said, some tasted like has been in the fridge for a while...

If you are sitting in a restaurant thinking of writing a review that means you are overly impressed. We decided to sit outside because we didn’t want to leave our Maltese baby in car. The comfortable seats blew our mind and this was just the beginning. The cocktails were made with passion and food was amazing. We tried the calamari, Sashimi, Tofu with a hint of sweet sauce, Prawn dumplings. Honestly it was hard to rate which one was better than the other. And the cherry on top was the cardamom dessert, very rarely I regret why I shared the dessert…. So going back again tomorrow. The girl who showed us the vegan options was very lovely and knew everything that was offered. The food was also tasty. However, we were served by a man named Dan who was extremely rude and very unfriendly. He didn’t say hello and was very blunt while taking our order. After we asked for one vegan dish he proceeded to ask, very rudely, how many of the dishes would be vegan because it “is just going to slow us down”. His attitude was unacceptable considering we were ordering over six dishes. Why have vegan options if you are not prepared to make them? It was not even that busy, the food ended up only taking 15 minutes. We were going to return tomorrow with nine of us for lunch but because we are so disappointed in the service from Dan, we will not be returning ever again and will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone,...
