The spot to do helicopter tours for the glaciers! I've done them at franz-josef and fox--do them at FOX for sure! Flying up and down the fox glacier valley is just astounding.

They really will try everything to get you accommodated here. I just dropped in (wasn't sure if I could make it if I booked ahead of time so had to go with the flow), was informed that the next flight would have to be in 2 hrs. Then, a moment later, the staff dashed out the door to get another tour group that had just left as well--if we went together we could all go immediately, which worked for all of us!

Landing on the glacier can't be beat. The scenery is fantastic, you have to try it. And the pilots, fantastic and experts of course! They also provide some great explanation of the area while transiting up. They are also expert photographers--with so many tourists, you have to be able to grab their cameras to get the best couples shots. Note: selfie sticks are a safety hazard, so the pilots taking your photo works out...

Prenotato con mail di conferma per le 15. Arrivo puntuale, dopo un lungo viaggio, e mi dicono che sono solo e quindi non possono far partire l’elicottero (sulla mail di conferma non c’è scritto… solo in piccolino sul loro sito) Mi propongono di spostare alle 16. In cielo ci sono delle nuvole, ma mi assicurano che non c’è problema. Alle 15.30 pago, ma poco prima di partire mi comunicano che il percorso non sarà quello che avevo prenotato, ma un altro.. Già capisco che ci saranno problemi e chiedo di non andare. Loro mi dicono che ormai ho pagato.. Quindi mi tocca andare. Su, ovviamente, è pieno di nuvole e si vede metá di quello che avrei dovuto vedere. Inoltre il giro dura 25 minuti e non 30. Di cui 7 fermi sul ghiacciaio. Quindi in totale sono 18 minuti di volo.. l’elicottero è vecchio e non nuovo come mi avevano assicurato. Al rientro segnalo tutto queste cose, ma mi rispondono pure male. Professionalità zero. 420 nzd buttati. La peggior esperienza in elicottero della mia vita (e ne ho fatte tante). Sconsiglio vivamente questa azienda. Tanto ce ne sono altre. Di sicuro più serie!

Booked with confirmation email for 3pm. I arrive on time, after a long journey, and they tell me that I am alone and therefore they cannot take the helicopter (it is not written in the confirmation email... only in small print on their website) They suggest moving to 4pm. There are clouds in the sky, but they assure me that there is no problem. At 3:30pm I pay, but shortly before leaving they tell me that the route will not be the one I had booked, but another one.. I already understand that there will be problems and ask not to go. They tell me that I have already paid.. So I have to go. Up there, obviously, it is full of clouds and you can see half of what I should have seen. Also, the tour lasts 25 minutes and not 30. Of which 7 are stopped on the glacier. So in total it is 18 minutes of flight.. the helicopter is old and not new as they had assured me. When I get back I report all these things, but they answer me badly too. Zero professionalism. 420 nzd wasted. The worst helicopter experience of my life (and I've had many). I strongly advise against this company. There are others anyway. Certainly...

Couldn’t have been better! After being mucked around by another company, Dee and Ken went above and beyond to give us all the info we wanted and made sure we were regularly updated with the weather conditions leading up to the flight. Our 5 young kids were given lots of attention by everyone to make sure they had the time of their life (and they did!). The pilot was amazing, pointing out things along the flight and taking pictures of the family at the top. And to top it all off they were cheaper than the rest!! Go with these guys - you won’t be...
