The other day - sometime last week, mum and I went to COS looking for warmer and light-layered clothing while we were travelling around in NZ. We knew COS from our country but we couldn’t find items in the store that mum needed. The gentleman approached us and started asking us questions about what we were looking for. My mum started describing the silhouettes she was looking for. The staff introduced men's cardigans and immediately my mum loved the style. He also mentioned some inner wool for my mum due Auckland's weather keeps changing from hot to cold. Then he brought a few different neutral shades of colour, as mum described, and immediate mum loved them. Mum got all 4 colours plus the cardigan. It was a great shopping experience in-store because the staff know product knowledge that helps us during travelling in NZ. Read moreAfter waiting for the male staff member to finish his conversation with his friend (both turned around and saw me waiting but continued their conversation) swapping a blazer here that I received for christmas for a smaller size was apparently a very unreasonable and difficult request! Tags on, had receipt but because there was no gift exchange receipt it wasn't possible to do. Why they didn't provide one when the person purchasing was clear it was a gift is beyond me. Eventually they made me pay $12.50 to swap sizes as the original blazer was discounted 5% due to the security tag being put in the wrong place. Apparently this discount made it invalid for gift returns even though the purchaser was clear it was for a christmas present and may need to be exchanged. Why would you offer a discount on a slight fault if it invalidates your own return policy? Ridiculous. This is the second time I've been here and the service has been the same every time -...
Read moreJust had the ever worst experience in the Commercial Bay COS store. Such famous fashion brand's store is being run so unprofessionally and customers are treated so poorly... Asked the staff member to take the dress off the mannequin for me to try as this one was the only my size available. Was surprised when told that it is not possible and they will not give me that dress..The mannequin was in the centre of the store's floor and obviously it was not a big deal to take the dress if asked... Finally the manager who appeared after i have asked for him a few times, took the dress off. It fitted perfectly but i had no desire to buy it after what had happened. If the COS's marketing team checks up on how this store (franchise I suppose) is being run in regards to the customer service, that would be great. Looking forward to seeing some...
