I’ve been coming here for a while and love the nurses however the receptionist and her customer service really needs to be considered for such a highly reputable clinic. She is so condescending and calls me “hun” or “love” every time. Yesterday I rung to see if I could book an appointment for this morning and unfortunately I wasn’t able to make this due to a personal / work emergency. My booking was at 930am and I called in at 830am which went to voicemail, I then called in again at 9 to let them know. I understand this was late notice and I called to ensure my spot could be offered to someone else - I was genuinely happy to pay a late cancel fee. However, I hadn’t even finished speaking and the receptionist cut me off and started calling me “hun” again and said that I should have called 24hrs earlier ( I booked less than 24hrs ago - and perhaps she would have known if she checked my booking) and I would be charged a late cancellation fee. She wouldn’t even let me finish my sentence and said that she would “let me off” this instance and that “life happens” and then went on to ask when I would like to be booked in next. She was so rude and abrupt that it really put me off and I didn’t want to speak with her or give another booking with the clinic. Face Place Clinic - something to please consider as part of your customer service experience. Yes, I was late, and I was happy to pay this fee, however talking and treating your clients in this manner is so unprofessional. Please take this feedback into review so that instances like this can be handed in a professional way for...
Read moreI went there for acne problem. They gave me a consultation session for 150 nzd, they've tried to sell me products for about 500 nzd -although if you buy the product you don't have to pay for the consultation. One of the product had retinol, I asked them if it is the same with Retrive, they've said no. This one was a 125 nzd cream. (Revive had been prescribed to me by a dermatologist and it costs about 27 nzd. maybe a little bit more.) I did not want to but the sunscreen, I am using the cancer society's product. They've pretty much told me that if I don't buy the 70 dollar sunscreen, I won't be getting the peeling treatment which is apparently the real thing I need. So I had to buy that too. I paid 358 nzd for products I neither needed nor wanted to be able to get the peeling treatment. And I wouldn't say anything but these things happened around 2 pm, now it is 2 am, my skin has new acne. (I wasn't having new acne formations for a while now.) So one or more of the things they put on my face during the consultation actually caused a reaction. All in all, I feel I got nothing out of this, it cost me 350 nzd and my skin is a lot worse. I also did not like the way one of them said ''I think you can get the peeling done the next time if you also buy the sunscreen.'' (The Indian girl, not the Russian.) Even at that moment it felt like the blackmail, but I also thought I didn't have any other choice because they made me believe that the peeling would really solve my...
Read moreThis would be my third bad experience with the Face Place, first they messed up my appointments in the Takapuna Branch and changed me to the Britomart one. Their clinic is in the CBD but there is so much construction there that even though i account an HOUR drive and parking time one way, and call them up to inform them about what is going on they really dont care. I’ve spent so much money here and come between work and they are not considerate at all, their clinic location recently changed and is already hard to find but the inconsideration is really intolerable. They honestly just dont care it seems like and i dont want to supporting a business as such. I’ve also been booked for the wrong treatments many times and they dont account enough time for the desired treatment but instead of accomodating, they want you to come back and wont make any changes or try to fit you in even though its their fault. I’m in the beauty industry and go to so many salons but this truly has been the...
