Herne Bay bakery on Jervois Road, I have frequented a lot over past sixteen years living in exclusive Herne Bay suburb. The food is fresh and affordable, with daily made sandwiches, even a selection of pies, also cakes, baguettes, and readymade drinks and coffees. Recommended: Roast beef and chutney, salad, sandwich $8.30 Egg sandwich $6.30 Ham, egg, tomato club sandwiches $3.30 Chicken and avocado sandwiches $8.30 The potato top pie is nostalgic, with memories of my traditional English kiwi upbringing in Christchurch last Century where I had never seen until teenager/early 20s an Asian or Indian lol. This bakery is so busy with local workers and also residents queuing at morning and afternoon tea breaks, lunch breaks. Today the Herne Bay bakery gave me a complimentary cream bun upon buying a steak pie for dinner on my limited budget which is below the poverty line to some Professionals, whilst I wait for my too long overdue financial legal compensation and media publicity setting new law reform and new law precedents.
