This was an amazing tour! The boat was great, it was warm inside and outside was perfect for looking for whales. The group size was just right as it wasn’t so busy you couldn’t all see the whales when they pass the boat. We saw lots of orcas, a few humpbacks and a fin whale. The main reason we saw so many was purely thanks to the amazing tour guide, she was always looking out for whales and this meant we were always the first tour to see whales before other boats would show up about 5 minutes later. The scenery was so amazing even if we didn’t see whales we would have had a great time. One of the best tours I’ve ever done, highly recommend!

We’ve found a large group of orca(s). I don’t know how many but surely more than 30 individuals. A lot of babys and young adults and few massive individuals. We were a group of eight people on the boat. Which is why I vividly recommend Arctic Whale Tours. You have the comfort and the warmth of a “big”boat but the maximum capacity is not overwhelming, sthg like +/- 20 people. Great and professional captain & guide on board! ✅

We booked a tour with arctic whale tours and had a fantastic day trip seeing lots and lots of orca families during a not very nice snowstorm day. Questions upfront were answered immediately and professionally, the meeting point for departure was easy to find, the team (special thanks to Hannaleena) was professional, friendly and taking care of the passengers needs and their wellbeing. She knew a lot about whales and orcas, always pointed out when she was seeing them. It’s a rather small boat with max of 40 passengers which we enjoyed a lot. There was enough space inside to warm up and enjoy a coffee or tea. beer can be purchased as well and you can bring your own food. The boat has a clean marine washroom / toilet. The entire trip was ethical and educational. The captain always kept the distance to the orcas and we were never chasing them like other boats. Highly recommended, one of the best tours I've ever been on.

Yes, we saw loads of orca's, humpbacks and fin whales. Which made the day perfect ofcourse, but this is something out of the control of the guides.

Why I give 5 stars and would urge you to book this whale tour? Daniel and Hannelene are passionate about whales themselves, they really enjoy what they are doing. The knowledge and boatmanship is endless. The enthusiasm is amazing. Smaller groups, intimate tour The boat is quick, comfortable, stable and the viewing decks are spacious. They give the whales space and respect them as animals, this tour is not to make money and drive over whales. Like some of the other boats.
