Absolutely no service whatsoever! The man (possibly the owner) was incredibly rude. When we walked in, we noticed the restaurant was quite busy, so we asked him if the wait would be long. He replied, “Depends on what you order.” When we said we’d like a lasagna and a pizza, he impatiently asked which pizza—yet we hadn’t even been given a menu. Naturally, we couldn’t answer right away, and his attitude became even worse. After being told that what we wanted wouldn’t take too long, we decided to stay.

When the pizza arrived, it was so small it didn’t even fill the plate. We’ve eaten here before, and while the prices haven’t changed, the portion size has shrunk significantly—basically a hidden price increase. On top of that, the pizza was slightly overcooked and very dry.

We asked if they had chili sauce, the man just pointed to where it was instead of bringing it to the table. The entire time, no one asked if we wanted drinks, and we weren’t even offered water.

I have no interest in commenting further on how bad the food was—what really shocked me was the appalling service. Safe to say, we won’t be...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cous and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. I started with a refreshing beer, which was perfectly poured and served at the ideal temperature. For my main course, I opted for the reindeer stew, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The reindeer was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the stew itself was rich and hearty. It was served with creamy mashed potatoes that were the perfect consistency, and a side of broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots in a sweet chili sauce that added a delightful touch of sweetness and spice. The entire meal was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure I had everything I needed. I do agree with other reviews I've read that the food takes a little time to get to you, but on the other hand, the waiter was only one and visibly doing his best in a pretty busy night. Plus, I'm on holidays, I got nowhere to be, I'm not going to be THAT guy and bemoan the long wait.

The food was GREAT. I got the stuffed mushroom and the chicken wrap, which, let me tell you, was MASSIVE. They were amazing, seriously delicious, I wish I had more time in Tromso so I could go back.
