I am writing to provide feedback and a suggestion regarding the Weekend Night Market, which I have had the pleasure of visiting recently. I have noticed a recurring issue that I believe warrants your attention.
Due to the current weather conditions in Metro Manila, which include frequent localized thunderstorms and rain, the Weekend Night Market is experiencing reduced attendance. This situation appears to be exacerbated by the limited number of umbrella tents available for market-goers. As a result, many visitors are unable to comfortably stay at the market during inclement weather, which in turn impacts the experience for both visitors and vendors.
To address this issue and enhance the market experience, I would like to recommend the following:
Weather Forecast Monitoring: Implement a system to regularly check weather forecasts, particularly leading up to and during market days. This will help anticipate rain and allow for timely decisions regarding additional cover.
Increase Umbrella Tents: Consider adding more umbrella tents or alternative cover solutions to provide better shelter for visitors. This could significantly improve the comfort level of attendees and encourage them to stay longer at the market.
Communication with Vendors: Ensure that local sellers are kept informed about any changes in weather-related policies or additional shelter provisions. This will help them prepare accordingly and potentially mitigate any negative impacts on their sales.
By taking these steps, I believe the Weekend Night Market can become more resilient to weather conditions and provide a more enjoyable experience for everyone involved. I hope these suggestions are helpful, and I look forward to seeing the continued success of the market.

I recommend the vegetarian fried noodles, fresh spring rolls, and iced Vietnamese coffee at So Mot, the avocado drink at any of the juice stalls, and the Takoyaki at the food trucks.
If you're a weirdo like me, I recommend checking out what I call The Lampost Graveyard at the back of the parking lot (pictured). They're so big and scary - like if they fell on you, bye. Good thing they're resting now and can't hurt anyone anymore.
Finally, if you lost a sandal here some time in early March 2023, that sandal might still be at the parking lot (pictured). 🤭
