Starbucks The Portal — Restaurant in Mandaluyong

Been staying in the area of Greenfield District for almost 5years and this branch has been a go-to place for extended working hours and weekend meet-up with some clients and friends. Over the years, a lot of things have already changed, but I would like to share a few thoughts and feedback about this branch: Consistently great customer service. I'm glad to know that while staff are scheduled to do turn over and redeployment in other branches, the culture of providing great customer engagement and service always remain intact. Keep it up guys.

Declining inventory of pastries collection especially in 2018. I can imagine the potential value on loss of sales due to out-of-stock incidents.. Their deliveries are normally observed to be between 12mn-1am. At around 8pm, the inventory of the store is significantly depleting already. I think the team can improve further in planning their replenishment schedules / store inventory as well.

Tables and power outlets already require some maintenance job. Tables are defective and power outlets are not well maintained.

Restroom! - due to influx of customers towards the evening, this branch needs to further increase their staffing esp. on the "housekeeping side". The tidiness, replenishment of supplies, and overall maintenance of their restroom needs a lot of work to improve.

While this place is considered public, I think it would really help if the guard on duty can call out the attention of some group of guests who stay inside the store for long hours and do their online gaming competitions. You can't possibly miss these crowds of people shouting consistently while being so engaged in their online activities. There are loyal customers who come to this place for offsite work and relaxation. It would really help if annoyances like that of the gamers will be managed...

The lady on the cashier is constantly making face when I am asking for a maximum scoop of matcha (for our drink) and for a PRIVILEGE DISCOUNT 👎🏼. She seems so unwilling to give it to me. She gave me the discount though, but she didn’t make an effort applying it on the most expensive drinks. If she should have been nicer during the transaction, I would not mind the most expensive drink discount. It’s just so disappointing of her making face so constantly. You can do better, ate.

The times dictate that we make the right decisions and when it comes to having to meet a colleague or an associate or a friend, Starbucks is the place to be.

Safety protocols are property in place to ensure that while we have one of the best coffee in our place, we stay safe and go home safe.

There is sufficient parking around the area and security is well provided.
