Visited Krakow just before Christmas for a couple of days with my partner. I always try and find a local skate shop when I go away and, thankfully, Underground Skateshop was so close to the main square my other half couldn't object to the detour 😛 You would probably miss it if you weren't looking for it, as is quite tucked away, but is well worth it. Small but packed with a good range of clothes, shoes, caps, decks and hardware. More choice packed into a space smaller than most places I go to which are bigger.
The 2 guys working there were lovely, bought a Macba Life beanie and they gave me a load of stickers and had a decent chat.
The sort of skate shop I grew up with in Manchester circa 2000-2004 ❤️
Always support your local skate shop if you can and, if you are in Krakow, you should drop by and buy something. It doesn't matter what country you are in or what language we speak - if you skate we are one.
Well worth a stop....

At first I thought that maybe it was because It was a cultural difference but when my boyfriend began talking to the man (in English) the man’s demeanor completely changed and my boyfriend was treated nicely and with respect. Rude, not helpful, impatient, stand offish, and...
Read moreI've been travelling around Eastern and Central Europe with my trusty Quiksilver Reach 100 luggage. I love this case and so when the skateboard wheels decided the cobbled streets of Krakow were too much, I found this awesome skateboard shop with 2 guys who really wanted to help get my luggage operational again.
We pulled the old broken wheels off but replacing them wasn't entirely straightforward - Underground Skateshop had to get creative and build me a skate/suitcase hybrid that will make dragging this thing through the streets of Poland WAY easier than it ever has been. Thaks again for helping me out guys - I really...
