Maybe the university should think about replacing management here - because of some original method of "optimizing" its workhours to 14.15 instead of scheduled 15.00 (which is known in some ex-USSR countries). They announce an "unexpected" power outage in some rooms and are "waiting" for electricians - and, well... this is so “unexpected” that they even made a special laminated sign for this (!!!) - see the photo. Since there are no visitors at 14.15, and this time the end of ticket sales, then, well, the “work” could be considered "done" and it is already closing in 14.30. Please also think how inadequate it looks when foreign tourists see...
Read moreThe museum was really nice, and it is quite funny to see how you go from a very crowded street to this very calm museum. We initially thought it was quite small before noticing the stairs. The museum is actually a big one and very informative. There are several rooms dedicated to several aspects of the pharmaceutical sciences, the history accompagnying the knowledge of this domain, the history of the curriculum too, and even a part concerning the Pod Orłem Pharmacy. I very much recommend visiting...

It closes early, I was just snapping and going to the next exhibit, weeks later I'm still reading and enjoying the pictures, ample descriptions in English are a big plus. Friendly staff that will stay out of your way and cheap ticket. At the time of my visit there was only one other person visiting the whole place. Not much of a tourist attraction but...
