Warsaw has many beautiful churches to visit, but this particular church has caught our attention, not because it is the prettiest, but because it has a very touching history.

The church, built during16th century brings many stories of attacks, was burned by Swedish and was rebuilt in Baroque style. The church has simple features, reminds the monastery style and it was also used as a library, having a rich collection, which unfortunately was destroyed after the Second World War.

According to the story that was told to us during our visit and we can also confirm on Wikipedia, the church served as a hospital for the wounded during the second war, which made the church vulnerable to further attacks and during one of them thousands of civilians, doctors and people helping to treat the wounded were killed.

Inside the church that has been rebuilt, you can still see one of the walls that resisted the bombs, where you can read more about the tragic history, and also about the reconstruction.

St. Hyacinth's Church in Warsaw is a heavenly delight for both believers and non-believers alike! With its stunning Baroque architecture and intricate detailing, it's no wonder this church is a must-visit for tourists in Warsaw. But don't let its holy appearance fool you - rumor has it that the ghosts of mischievous choirboys still haunt the halls, playing pranks on unsuspecting visitors. So if you're looking for a little divine intervention in your life, or just a good scare, St. Hyacinth's Church is the perfect destination. Just remember to bring some holy water...and maybe...
