Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever had the misfortune of eating at. I should have left as soon as the staff were giving me dirty looks and scoffed at me when I gave them a smile. The staff was so unhelpful, I asked for a menu and she pointed at the wall and said ‘that’s it’. I saw card menus behind her and said can I have a card menu and she said they don’t have them. Also note I speak polish so this was not due to being a tourist. I mistakenly ordered a tuna salad and my partner got the chicken schnitzel with rice. The tuna salad was an absolute abomination and a toddler could have made something better. The tuna was canned, watery, and about a tablespoon of it plopped on some stale vegetables. I just wanted something fresh and light as I’d been eating heavy. It was sickening and smothered in a weirdly sweet garlic sauce. My partners schnitzel was cold and mediocre. The rice was cold and clearly microwaved rice. He didn’t even risk eating the rice as it was clearly a food poisoning risk. No sauce. The salads tasted worse than store bought. I would have preferred to go to the local Żabka and had dinner there. And at least żabka is licensed and I could get a drink to try and forget what an awful experience this was! My only hope now is that we do not get sick from this so called...

Read moreHave been there few years ago and have had traditional polish food that I always remembered. The place was runned down but the food was good.
Today I have visited the same place and I was surprised how new and modern the place look now, compare to 4 years ago. I was equally surprised how the food changed as well. Modern taste in the bad way... Tomato soup taste equally bad as it was poured directly from the cheep can.
I was hoping that the pierogi ruskie (Russian dumplings) would make it up for bad soup. Dumplings literally did not have any taste. Slightly glazed fried onions did not improve the meal.
I have manged to eat one and bad taste of food additive is still on my mouth. Not sure what it was but the back of my tongue was dry and very unpleasant
I was not a game to test any...
