Ai Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Bucharest

I placed an order online, got the confirmation, and after 90 min i called for the update, they didn't even checked their email, the order was not even seen! No excuses received, the guy told me that he is alone and that's all he can do.

After that I was contacted by the manager for excuses and offered the same order for free anytime i prefer, which was very nice of her, totally unexpected. However, i didn't take it, but i placed 'incognito' two other order (by the phone this time and I went to pick them up) which went well. The sushi is quite good, i think top 3 in bucharest, the staff is nice and also the timing was ok. The restaurant is located in a very nice area, with some small tables outside, beautiful for a chilled lunch or dinner.

We used to come here often because the food and the cocktails are really good. However today we felt being mocked at because the boss decided to play bartender. After the first round of drinks, which were very good as every time, we decided to order a second round with the same drinks. The drinks came this time not tasting the same and not even having a similar taste or similar alcohol type. We sent them back explaining the reason and received the same drinks in different glasses. We checked who at the bar was because we were surprised and it was the boss who took a break from his evening out with his friends and the terrace and played bartender. Waiters show no respect to clients. We eat at Ai Sushi Bar every week, this is not the first time it happens. We sit at the table, ordered food, waited for over 45 minutes for plates that are usually ready in 15 to 25 minutes MAXIMUM, even with the restaurant being at full capacity. All tables were vacant except 3, they prioritized food delivery, we didn’t even get to get our food. After 60 minutes, the waiter said it’d be done in 5 minutes.
