I was confused at arrival bcus there was no obvious fabric shop standing out. It's a busy area with many shops, yes, but mixed of all different kinds of goods, so I didn't know where to find the fabric spots.
But once you walk down KN 2 St., you will see some small misc. fabric stores scattered about. A few are larger as well.
I was looking for local patterns in cotton and waxed print, and did find some, but wasn't so into the designs personally. I ended up grabbing 6 yards (you can't really get smaller sizes for many of them) of a wax print for about 20,000. I def knew I could negotiate but didn't mind paying extra (as my "tourist tax") but I'm sure you could bring it down by like 30-50% at the very least.
