Best Woolworths ever! I’ve been supporting them for 13 lucky years. The first time I arrived in Johannesburg I bought an airport security friendly nail clipper lol you can literally get anything and everything here! Sometimes I don’t even pack any luggage, I just buy what I need at the airport woolies, no fuss and no stress travel. The funniest story i have is when I had serious munchies and I filled up a bag of yummies: a burger, bag of naartjies, fudge caramels, sliced angus biltong, almond bar... gosh there was a ton of stuff in that airport haul. 💝 Basically had cravings the entire plane trip so i eventually cleaned up the whole bag of goodies 😂 🤣 and ate the British Airways lasagna meal. Offered some snack to the two ladies next to me (bride and maid of honor), but they were starving themselves for an upcoming wedding and couldn’t believe that I ate everything in a 2 hour plane ride ✈️ . I have been to so many Woolworths but none of them made me feel so important like Mpho at the perfume section. Normally people will profile you and decides on the service they want to give you. I met Mpho during Black Friday, she was so nice and very respectful, she showed me all the perfumes and treated me special. She is the reason why I bought the perfumes and I still go back to buy more especially when she on duty. Mpho I am so happy and you add alot of value to the organisation. I suppose it's okay-ish. Problem is, this is a very busy area and I think staff should be on their toes, ready to serve customers asap. However, this is not the case. We were there at around 17:30 on a Friday. Only two cashiers were open and one was serving Woolies staff!? On top of that, the staff member forgot something and the cashier CLOSED to wait for the lady to go and fetch her milk. She was in no hurry whatsoever!
