The waitress that served us was friendly, helpful and efficient. The food on the other hand was a problem. There was no presentation when they served us a round of milkshakes and my strawberry milkshake was not blended enough. A person who ordered the chocolate milkshake said that there wasn't enough chocolate. A person decided to get desert instead of a main and all cakes were out of stock and they were forced to get malva pudding and ice cream but she got served ice-cream and malva pudding. The person decided to eat a teaspoon of ice cream first and oh boy was it a mistake. It tasted sour and we ate the malva pudding and something in it made the ice-cream sour because the malva pudding tasted sour as well. We told the waitress and she said that the kitchen claims that the sour taste was from the syrup. Anyone who has eaten syrup knows that it's sickeningly sweet. Oh and they served the pudding in a martini glass so it was difficult to eat. Okay, so maybe there's hope for the the people who had mains, right? Wrong! Two people ordered mains. Both of us ordered a gourmet burger and the chips/fries were very little and underseasoned. Even a chip that had a lot of spice was tasteless. The burger was tiny in size. The buns were stale and were not toasted. The burger patty tasted like a patty from the grocery store and the other toppings were average. The lady took time to bring the bill which was a bit wierd. We sat down for a quick breakfast before my mother's flight

We ordered 2 eggs Benedict Nd a basic breakfast and a toasted chicken Mayo sandwich

Basic breakfast: asked for soft eggs but whites must be cooked properly. Eggs are over done Food was cold and no butter was provided with the toast for the breakfast we have to specifically ask the waiter for button.

The Eggs Benedict: the eggs were not poached like it supposed to be (eggs are supposed to be soft) eggs over cooked

One was asked for white bread with bacon and the other was brown bread with ham

Then got brown bread with bacon and white with ham, these meals you can't just swop bread because everything is built on top of each other.

The Holland sauce was on the side where it's actually supposed to be over everything the sauce was cold

All meals were cold not even luke warm.

Manager tried to compensate us , but only removed 1 meal off the bill to say sorry

The bad: It was nice until, I'm assuming, the owner/manager said she had to turn off heater, the reason I patronized the restaurant, due to it being almost noon but she still had a winter coat and scarf on walking around the restaurant. If you cannot afford the expenses of a business, get out of the business. Then she told me to go sit outside with the smokers, even though I don't smoke. She said she sits out there from time to time. I assume if it's good for her, it's good for me. Not a reflection of good customer service.

The good: Other than that, I had the peri-peri original buffalo wings (6 piece). I also had a few shots of Tequila because I wanted to warm up. Food was relatively good and the shots did the job. Both were inexpensive from a western price point. Wings (R59) $4.18 and tequila shots (R35) $2.48.
