vida e caffè ORT KIOSK — Restaurant in Gauteng

I was served by Sonia at OR Tambo 18 July 2022. I m on the que and next person on the line is called forward which I proceed to the till. She comes back and ask I step back because she wants to serve another lady.

She didn't bother asking if I was there first or not. I wouldn't be writing this review had she not gotten irritated by me explaining myself. She made a face and i js didn't enjoy the experience anymore. I wanted to cancel the transaction but I needed my coffee fix. Was my first and last time here.

I waited for more than 30 minutes and she didn't line up my cappuccino. I was been deliberately delayed by her due her irritation of me. I left the invoice slip with one of the barristas to get the cuppucino themselves. Worst place and service from her and people wonder why they never get any blessings....mean spirit. I am really angry...maybe less singing and more efficient and friendly service that is more than enough. Maybe the staff hate the singing hence the grumpiness....next corporate meeting table that for consideration.

I don't like...

I always support this outlet... always friendly staff - but it seems to me there is also a time keeping problem... one day they say they open at 4:30am other days it's 5am... Today they said 4:30am they will be open.. but then standing for almost 20min in the store without any service as the staff is still sorting their cash flow.

There was between 4:20am tot 4:45am more than 30 guest looking for coffee and a small bite... I also know the time is actually 4:45am...

My suggestion is - keep to your times when trading and don't tell your guest otherwise....

On the good note... keep up the excellent vibe you guys bring and amazingly friendly staff....

I still believe you guys are the best...

Vida at JHB domestic departures is a regular and convenient coffee stop for us when flying. The staff are generally friendly, and my cappuccino was well made and hit the spot. My wife ordered a decaf Mucho, but it came out quite weak. When we politely asked if it could be made stronger, the staff responded with a bit of disagreement, which made things a little uncomfortable. That said, they did assist in the end and corrected the drink, which we appreciated. Overall, still a reliable and familiar spot for a quick coffee...
