Steers Florida Road — Restaurant in Windermere

Shocking service from Simon who is apparently the senior manager there. Ordered take away and when I went to collect it, after standing in a long queue, I finally got to the front only to be told by Simon that my order was at milky lane and not at the steers counter? I ordered steers! He did not even check for my order. Just heard take away and sent me away. Got to milly lane next to steers, had to wait in the queue there and the lady was clueless about my order. Wasted 10 min again waiting for someone to check but no one seemed to know what was going on. Had to get a hold of my husband ro find out who he spoke to.... battled to get someone to assist me ahain and finally managed to locate the lady who took my order.. she was at fish always! Thankfully Thobile knew exactly what I ordered, went over to steers and hit my order which was under my husband's name which is what I told Simob so if he just checked he could have given me my order and saved me 20min of waiting. The food was cold and it took longer to fetch my take away after calling and ordering compared to other restaurants that you order and wait for it. Atrocious customer experience at Steers Florida Road. Ordered breakfast pitas. Waited for the order, when it came out, it was breakfast buns. Explained to person serving me that she made a mistake. Staff member argued with me, telling me that’s not what I said. Went around telling all other staff members that I’m crazy. That’s not service. I’m supporting your business. Worst ribs ever! Visited the Florida road branch for some ribs and chips- what a disappointment. First off, the order took close to an hour to prepare, which was a first for me. When we got home and opened the boxes, we found the ribs were so overdone, they were charred and tough; getting a crate of biltong would have been better, honestly, with the other set full of thick fat that left one bilious.
