My friend and I were just wrongly accused of stealing at this store. I purchased two items at the counter while my friend was perusing the shelves. I went over to join her and the shop worker was watching us too closely as we continued to look at a few things and chat. I put the two items that I had just purchased in a reusable bag and we went to leave. Another employee pointedly asked us if we needed anything on the way out, we said no thank you, then she shouted at us to stop. She forced us back into the store and dug through the bag as I explained that I only put away the two things that I bought. I believe this to be racial profiling on the account of my friend and I would discourage POC from visiting this store to avoid this kind of treatment, and I would discourage anyone from patronizing this business because of...

I was wrongly accused of stealing from this shop on my most recent visit. I’ve come here a few times and previously enjoyed the shop, however, this time I had a terrible experience. I was shopping with a friend and we picked out a few items. My friend paid and I kept looking around in the shop (while a shop worker stood very close and watched me look around). After putting our paid for items in my reusable bag, the worker told us there were cameras and accused me of placing additional items in the bag. I believe this was racial profiling.
