Terraza Buddha Lounge Bar — Restaurant in Nerja

We had the Day 2 of our wedding here. One barman in particular, was extremely sneaky and very rude. He kept asking people for tips and if he could keep the change when they paid for drinks. He told my uncle he couldn't pay by card even though there was two card machines behind the bar. My uncle pointed the card machine out to him and the barman quickly changed his mind. My aunt was charged €26 for two vodkas and sprite and was then asked for a tip on top of it. The staff never actually asked me or my wife (the bride and groom) for a tip funnily enough. So when we left that night we left them a generous tip for their service only to find out the next morning how pushy and unprofessional they had been towards everyone. We were extremely embarrassed and furious over how they treated our friends and family. Not only this, but music cannot be played at a level where you can actually hear it. We were not made aware of this before booking. The food they provided was also terrible and it was €10 per person for a cold BBQ. I would not recommend this place for a private...

We had a great meal out with lovely staff, nice atmosphere and tasty food. The highlight of the evening were the delicious cocktails made with fresh fruit and generous sizes. We were initially disappointed as we didn't get a seat with a view but we didn't have a reservation so we couldn't expect much. Still it was so peaceful getting away from the hustle and bustle up on the rooftop. We had a full three courses with cocktails and the price was incredibly good (€60 approx!). The bread was freshly baked and all of the food was delicious! The staff had perfect English which helped us as we only have a few words of Spanish. We were there for a long time and never felt rushed. We enjoyed the cocktails immensely and they looked amazing too. The only negative I can highlight is the toilets aren't great. Got there and looks beautiful with lovely comfortable settees BUT as there was only the 2 of us we were told we could not sit there as it was a minimum of 6 people so we were moved to quite uncomfortable tall table seats. To make it worse it seems it was ok to have a group of kids all under 11 jump around on the settees. I don't have an issue with the kids being in the bar but to say two adults in their 40s couldn't use the settees, even though we made it quite clear we had no issue if anther group wanted to sit with us, but to see the as a couple we couldn't avail of the settees was, in my opinion very bad taste.
