Oasis Grill & Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Yaiza

This is a great place that is underselling itself. We have come to have brunch/lunch and use the pool on a daily basis when on the last two holidays to Player Blanca. The outside messaging is confusing (eg the pool is not open until May 1st!?… )it is and I have used it every day…people however walk passed believing it can’t be used. This ensures that The Oasis remains quiet, which we are sure is not their intention. Their marketing notice board needs updating…suggestions:

The pool is open! Flexible reduced cost 3/5/7 day pre booking membership Market broader food options that include pool use. Link the next door restaurant by offering reduced entry price to the pool and sunbed area next to the pool.

There is a set brunch menu that links the use of the pool and sun beds/balinese. This is good especially as they are flexible in allowing more than 3 hour use and an ability to choose food from the main menu (as long as it is does not cost more than the brunch!).

The staff and food are really good, being not just polite but...

Disappointing Outcome After a Promising Start

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, and given the stylish décor and inviting atmosphere, we were surprised the venue wasn’t busier. My fiancée and I each enjoyed a mojito (and a nojito), and we both opted for the chicken Pad Thai, which we found quite enjoyable at the time.

Unfortunately, shortly after leaving, both of us experienced severe symptoms of food poisoning. This has significantly impacted the remainder of our holiday, which has been deeply upsetting. While we understand that foodborne illness can occasionally occur despite precautions, it is particularly disappointing considering this was such a common dish. We would expect a higher standard when it comes to food safety and freshness, especially from an establishment of this apparent calibre.

What began as a lovely evening ended in a deeply unpleasant and...

REALLY POOR. Con place. Avoid at all costs, Especially for lunch. The lady gives you wrong menu to lure you in and then when you choose from the menu, she then changes it and gives you a different menu saying “oh sorry this is the lunch menu”. She did that to 3 customers while we sat there. Anyway, we waited 45 minutes after ordering and still no sign of food. Asked her what was going on and she said it’s coming. Another 10 minutes and still no sign of the food By which time I got really agitated and asked her what was going on. She said problems with the kitchen. Food had not even started being cooked!! So he cancelled and left, only to be told that you have to still pay for the water which you had when you were waiting!! She was not even sorry and had an extremely bad attitude! There was no hospitality or respect towards customers. Awful....
