Francis & Francis — Local services in Stockholm

Was so looking forward to trying their ice cream after seeing it on social media. The only thing that this place has gone for itself is the Instagramability of the ice cream but that's where the positives stop. The soft serve ice cream wasn't even chilled enough so within 1 minute of walking outside of the store it was already dripping. I chose the hojitcha and coconut with orange. But I could barely taste anything. It was very bland compared to the expectations of a roasted rice tea giving off nutty flavours in the ice cream. Really disappointing especially for the price of 55 kr for just one flavour. In all honesty it can't even compare to the velvety texture IKEA soft serve ice cream has!

The staff were not the fastest either. This meant there was a huge build up in the store and outside. There really should be a numbering system so they can call the order rather than everyone looking confused which order is who's especially with there being limited alternatives. looks beautiful, and the soft serve texture is really nice. however the flavours are lacking. it’s mainly just milky and sweet with a small amount of flavour if you are looking for it. i love the taste of black sesame and was really looking forwards to it in ice cream format - but was left slightly disappointed. seems to be more focused on instagrammability than taste unfortunately. might come back and try a different flavour as some point if there’s one i fancy - but based on other reviews i’ve seen i’m going to assume i’ll be left equally as...

Happy that I finally get to try out this place. Ordered the black sesame soft serve in cone. One cannot compare the black sesame soft serve with the Japanese version. The Japanese one has an intense black sesame flavour but at Francis & Francis, it has a much milder taste. It's their own take of the black Sesame flavoured soft serve.
