Oliver Twist — Restaurant in Stockholm

We made a reservation for two adults and two children, one of whom is autistic. While we waited for dinner, our daughter had a few episodes of crying and screaming. Which we completely understand for a bar environment where people want to have fun or spend their happy hour. But we were "invited to leave" if she continued with the attacks. We felt very embarrassed, as we were also customers at that time, consuming drinks and food.Professionals need to be more experienced and have more empathy with the families who go through these moments in these environments, and also explain to clients who complained about the noise, that the world is not their living room, and it is necessary to give space to everyone. I just suggest that you have a better approach in these situations, as the world is increasingly inclusive. Mainly because they accept children in the bar, which can lead to situations such as crying and screaming, even if the child is not autistic, but is tired, for example. We loved the food and drinks, the atmosphere is incredible, we loved staying longer. Oliver Twist is one of the best Best bars in Stockholm. The bar staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Of the 20-30 times I’ve been there, I had been satisfied every time. I’ve had meals there 4-5 times and the food is usually pretty good. This was not one of the times. I ordered the skewer of ribeye (pieces? Bits?) and I ordered rare. What I got was very small pieces like 1-2 cm in size of really overcooked meat. Brown and hard. I asked for the meal to be recooked and rare. An impossibility in my opinion because the pieces are way too small to achieve a sear and remain rare. I even offered to change my order to something the kitchen could achieve. Our server assured us the kitchen could do it. The second plate of food was still overcooked, but at least it was a little pink inside. The entire meal was extremely disappointing. I strongly suggest this dish is reworked or removed from the menu. 300 kr for this meal is absolutely overpriced. The server did give me a refund of 25% even though I didn’t ask for it, so I gave her a tip. I strongly recommend this place as a great craft beer bar, but maybe have dinner...

Good after work location with a decent selection of beers and an above average mood with decent decore and atmosphere. Wait staff on an evening with close to full seating were not entirely attentive on offering refills and their knowledge of the current selection was at some times a bit off but with them being friendly and more than willing to accommodate the score is rescued and carried up to a 4 instead of 3.

Bar snack offering was above average with proper fried chicken or jalapeno cheese fries or any of the other offerings. With my favourite being the coldcuts/cheese platter or the potato skins. However the marinated olives was also very good.

Snacks felt homemade mostly and had good flavours.

Have not tried dinner food or lunch and cannot comment on this.
