One of Stockholm’s top craft beer bars, Stigbergets Fot impresses with a great beer selection and outstanding burgers. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, making it a great spot for quality food and drinks. 🍺🔥
The cheeseburger was easily one of the best I’ve had:
🍔 Cheeseburger: ✅ The sesame bun from Panem Bakery was soft with a slight nuttiness, but I personally would have preferred a neutral potato bun. ✅ The beef patty was perfectly seared, crispy on the outside, juicy, and packed with deep beefy flavor. Double burgers are the way to go for extra crust and richness. ✅ Red onion added a sharp bite, enhancing the balance. ✅ Mojo rojo mayo provided a subtle but well-rounded finish. ✅ Pickles were crispy but slightly too salty—a dill pickle would have been a better choice. ❌ The fries were over-fried and too dry, so I wasn’t a fan.
🍺 The beer selection is truly unique, with 20cl options allowing you to sample different varieties. My favorite was the West Coast IPA with bitter orange notes. Given price and consumption habits, I believe Turkey should also offer 20cl and 40cl sizes instead of just 33cl and 50cl.
I slightly lowered the rating due to my personal preference for a potato bun and the fries being too dry. However, Stigbergets Fot remains a must-visit for craft beer & burger lovers in...
Read moreI'll start with the most important thing: if you are after a thin smashburger, you have gone to the wrong place.
The burgers here were great and meaty. The patty is thick and with delicious bread. Unfortunately, as a person who doesn't like condiments and thus always orders without it, it failed a bit. The meat and burger had turned dry and bland which is a shame because if there is anything I love then it is a juicy and fatty meat patty in a cheesy burger.
However, my friends who do eat condiments and sauces all praised the dressings and burgers because it made the burger whole and counter-balanced the dry meat. So, if you are a fan of thick meat and condiments, this is your place.
The sides on the other hand were absolutely amazing. Southern fried chicken were crispy and flavourful. Korean fried chicken were even more flavourful and juicy. The tater tots were a fun addition. We were mostly surprised and awed however at the deep fried jalapenos. We expected the usual chili cheese jalapeño but here it was as the name suggested: deep fried jalapenos. Crispy, spicy and absolutely delicious to dip with.
The service is also commendable: nice, helping and there to give you great advice on what drinks to choose (their IPA...
Read moreThis bar came recommended from a museum staffer. It looked fairly ordinary as our family group walked in. We found a table and sat down but the next table was very noisy So I volunteered to check if I could find a quieter corner, including the bench seats outside. I was just walking back into the bar, down a step, when a staff member approached and told me I couldn't enter (although I already had) because I was wobbling on the steps which he attributed to drinking too much. I explained this was because I suffer from a numb lower right leg (attributed to diabetes 2). No alibi for the little Adolf who refused me permssion to rejoin the family group. As a tourist there's always another bar to go to (as we all did, losing them a big round of drinks). If I had been a local I would have gladly tested Sweden's legal system for rejecting someone wih a disability. On the bright side I can now dine out on the experience of my first ever ejection from a bar at the tender age of 76. Didn't get a chance to try the food so I gave it an average 3. The other figures speak...
