Been there for dinner on Sunday 21st May on our last day in Stockholm after an amazing week in the city. We have been served by a nice but inexperienced waiter who was trying her best. She brought us a complimentary salad and some bread (served with mayonnaise?) just after we ordered our main. So far so good... We had not even started tasting the salad that a minute later our main arrived and clearly there was no space on the table for the other two plates (we had to put the water somewhere else to make room). My pasta with porcini mushrooms (I think) was served with crisps (yes, crisps) not as a side but on the same plate. Not sure whether this is a nice touch for the typical customer, but in my view there was not really need. Just serve the simple pasta please. Apart from that, the food was ok. Unfortunately during our dinner we noticed a complete disregard towards the clients (us in this case). Waiters were just minding their business (checking the cutlery, checking empty tables, etc.) while we waited 10 minutes before one of them (who was behind us all the time and guess doing what - checking the cutlery) spotted our empty plates and took them away without asking whether we wanted something else. The perception was that they could not wait to see us leaving. So we did leave. We could not stay a minute longer in a place where the personnel does not bother about clients. Going to a restaurant is not only about food, is also about the overall experience. To be fair, we received a 20% discount on a beer (upon my request for the record) as the menu listed the drink as a bottle of 66cl while the one available was 50cl. It took 15 minutes of negotiation behind the scenes to get confirmation of the discount. Overall, a...

Service is excellent. This is what I expect from ANY restaurant.
Romantic atmosphere with candles and dimmed lights.
Food - Penne all pollo (chicken pasta), pizza carpaccio bianco (goes well with a bit of lemon juice) Perfect cooking, sauce and fine European portions (not too small, not too big)
Drinks chianti & alcohol free chardonnay are just right.
Dessert, tiramisu & lemon sorbet. Not excellent but just fine. Enough to put a 5 star since overall this place deserves a higher position than 3.9 and it safe to bring your date to spend a cozy evening...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant our first day in Stockholm. This was our return visit to Sweden but our first time in Stockholm. The place is located right on vanadisplan so the location is amazing, great for people watching. The atmosphere is relaxing and the food was quite tasty but unfortunately we have been sick ever since we ate there. Maybe it was the change in food or the amount of oils used to cook the food. What ever it was it did not...
