Un ponte pedonale a Zurigo Sono passato su questo ponte con la mia ragazza in occasione di una giornata a Zurigo. Si tratta di una struttura molto larga dove si può circolare solo a piedi che collega la parte vecchia con la parte nuova della città. Al centro sono presenti dei locali che offrono pietanze tipiche dello street food. Dalle ringhiere si possono scattare delle fotografie molto suggestive di Zurigo. Un posto da non perdere in città.

Die Rathausbrücke, umgangssprachlich auch als “Gemüsebrücke” bekannt, ist eine bedeutende Fußgängerbrücke über die Limmat im Herzen der Zürcher Altstadt. Sie verbindet das rechte Limmatufer mit dem Rathaus und dem Limmatquai mit dem linken Ufer, wo sich die Schipfe und der Weinplatz befinden. 

Historisch diente die Brücke seit dem Mittelalter als zentraler Marktplatz, insbesondere für den Gemüsehandel, was ihr den Spitznamen “Gemüsebrücke” einbrachte. Die erste Erwähnung einer Brücke an dieser Stelle stammt aus dem Jahr 1221.  Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte wurde die Brücke mehrfach erneuert und erweitert. Die heutige Konstruktion aus Stahlbeton wurde 1972/73 nach Plänen des Architekten Manuel Pauli errichtet. 

Aktuell ist ein Ersatzneubau der Rathausbrücke geplant, da die bestehende Struktur sanierungsbedürftig ist und den wassertechnischen Anforderungen nicht mehr genügt. Der Baubeginn ist für...
