From the moment I stepped into Zeughauskeller, I was impressed by the historical charm and architecture of the place. The restaurant is housed in a beautiful historic building, which adds a unique and authentic touch to the dining experience.

Upon being seated, I noticed the welcoming ambiance with warm lighting, wooden furnishings, and tasteful decor that created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The interior was tastefully decorated, reflecting the traditional Swiss culture and heritage.

As someone who was in mood for something vegetarian that day, I was pleased to find an excellent selection of vegetarian options on the menu, including the veggie burger that caught my eye. When it arrived at the table, I was delighted to see a well-constructed and appetizing burger. The patty was made with a delicious blend of vegetables, grains, and spices, and it had a satisfying texture that made it a great alternative to the traditional meat burger.

The service was exceptional throughout the meal. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations and accommodating any special requests. They were quick to refill drinks and check if everything was to my liking, making sure I had a pleasant dining experience.

What impressed me most was the attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes and the overall service. Each dish was plated beautifully, and the staff made sure that I felt comfortable and taken care of from start to finish.

Overall, Zeughauskeller Restaurant in Zurich exceeded my expectations. The great veggie burger, excellent service, and charming ambiance make it a must-visit for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this restaurant offers a memorable dining experience with a taste of Swiss history and cuisine. I will definitely be returning the next time...

This place is an overly touristy spot, resembling a low-end trattoria. Customers are treated like numbers, with no real service. The waitstaff were sweaty, unpleasant-smelling, stressed, and extremely rude. I politely asked for a menu quickly because my three-year-old children were very hungry—my urgency was for them, not myself. I had to repeat myself four times while the waiters ignored us to serve a solo diner who was in no hurry. To be fair, after ordering, the food arrived quickly. However, it was awful. I’ve lived in Switzerland for years, and these were the worst rösti I’ve ever had. The asparagus soup was 99% butter and barely 1% asparagus. After ordering, I kindly asked to move indoors as it was cold for my young children. The rude waiters, speaking incomprehensible English (despite claiming to know it), brushed me off, saying they didn’t know anything. Eventually, the manager—the only polite person—told me that since I ordered outside, I had to stay there. What kind of rule is that? It was cold, and I had two three-year-olds. No one offered to help. The worst came at the end. My children were exhausted, so I approached the counter multiple times to pay. I was told to be quiet and wait. Ten minutes later, I noticed other customers paying directly at the counter. When I pointed this out, a waiter yelled at me and made a racist remark against Italians in Swiss German. This place is filthy, the staff are rude and unhygienic, and their behavior borders on unacceptable. As we left, the same waiter made a derogatory comment about my driver, who was eating with us and is Filipino. To the waiter: Instead of being racist toward Italians or foreigners, take a good look in the mirror. You’re not above anyone. Respect your customers and your job, even if you do it poorly. And please, take a shower—your odor was offensive. I’ll be sharing your...

Located in the heart of Zurich, Zeughauskeller offers an authentic Swiss experience that leaves a lasting impression. From the moment you step through the doors, the warm, rustic ambiance welcomes you, with its historic wooden beams and charming décor that feels both inviting and rich in heritage. It's clear that this iconic establishment has been serving guests since 1487, and its traditional Swiss cuisine pays homage to this incredible legacy.

The menu at Zeughauskeller is a celebration of Swiss comfort food, with a particular emphasis on hearty sausages, sizzling meats, and traditional dishes that embody the best of Swiss culinary tradition. One of the highlights is the Zurich-style veal – perfectly tender, paired with Rösti and a rich, creamy sauce that will have your taste buds dancing with joy. The sausages, grilled to perfection, are undeniably some of the best in Switzerland, and the selection of local beers offers the perfect pairing for any meal.

What truly sets Zeughauskeller apart is its excellent service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to recommend the best dishes or a refreshing drink to complement your meal. You’ll feel like you’re dining with family, and the atmosphere is lively, yet relaxed – ideal for both intimate dinners or larger gatherings.

In addition to its outstanding food and drink, the location is unbeatable, with its close proximity to Zurich’s major landmarks. Whether you're a local or a visitor, dining at Zeughauskeller is an experience that should not be missed. It is a beautiful blend of history, culture, and exceptional cuisine that makes it a standout destination...
