If you’re looking for authentic halal food in Bangkok, Curry and Kebab is an absolute gem. From the moment we sat down, everything about the experience was wonderful.
The food is simply amazing. I especially recommend trying their Mutton Karahi, Butter Chicken, and Biryani – each dish was cooked to perfection, rich in flavor, and tasted just like home-style cooking. The balance of spices was spot on, and you can tell real effort and love go into preparing the food here.
The prices are very reasonable considering the generous portions and high quality. In fact, it’s one of the few places where you feel you’re getting more than what you paid for.
A special mention to Mr. Umar, who is extremely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with recommendations. His hospitality makes the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

Read moreThe Curry & Kebab Restaurant. The name could not be more understated. More like Curry & Kebab - Paradise (Jannah ). The food is sublime, the portions generous. The service is unaffected, fluid and friendly. The restaurant itself has black and white tiles on the floor and booths and tables more reminiscent of dinner in America’s Deep South. A grid of windows frames [in a rule of thirds way] Soi market life ricocheting around outside. The Islamic art on the walls confirms that you are in Bangrak where Islam and Buddhism coexist in harmony. Go and eat there there will be nothing understated about your taste...
Read moreVery affordable Indian restaurant. I ordered my favorite dish "palak paneer" to compare with other Indian restaurants. The portion was a bit larger than usual, the sauce had an average taste, there was so little paneer cheese that it was difficult to find it, it was cut very short, which I was unpleasantly surprised by. The rice and naan were normal. The price was only 230 Baht if I remember correctly, so I recommend it to someone who likes to eat cheaply and eat a lot. Payment is cash only which may explain the lower prices. When it comes to taste, there are many better Indian...
