They do not offer free hotel transfer.

The reception when we arrived at the entrance was poor. We were asked by the receptionists if we had made reservations and not the standard welcome greetings.

Refreshment was given to us and nobody bothered to explain what the drink was.

Also, the foyer was a busy place. We kept hearing walk-in customers being rejected. Maybe they should separate the reception and waiting area so that customers feel more relaxed instead of hearing all the rejection.

We both chose 2 hours hot oil massage and the receptionists just passed a tray with the oil samples and asked us to choose. She did not care to explain the difference or discuss our preference.

We arrived at the room and there was a male employee standing outside probably working on maintenance but it gave a feeling that the room was not private.

For the very high price, the massage quality was lousy. The notes handed to the masseuse prior to the massage were not helpful at all. Areas to avoid and focus were all wrong.

The masseuse had to take a toilet break during 2-hour massage session.

Room was right beside the café and there was chattering noise coming from outside.

The music played in the room was a choir singing or a person chanting which also ruined the massage experience.

When facing down, the breather hole was too big, causing a lot of stress on either the top of the head or our throat. This stress can be easily avoided if there is a good cushion to support. Funny enough the masseuse asked why I was fidgeting, I could not explain it well at that moment and it is also disappointing that Fah Lanna do not understand why the customers are uncomfortable.

Knee, shoulder and elbow joints were in pain when the masseuse pressed down hard because the bed was hard.

Please spend your money somewhere else.

In overall, it is very apparent that the premise focuses on profit and none of the employees are genuinely interested in providing good...

I have booked a combo for Traveller’s costing 3000 baht. 3 hours including foot massage called reflexology (it was not a reflexology at all), Thai massage 1h + 1h aromatherapy. As a Spa mentor myself, working in this industry for a while, definitely can tell that it is not worth the price. You can get a better quality for a much lower price. The treatment felt rushed. The music was off after the 1st hour and therapist didn’t even care. At the end of the treatment it was back on. Regarding the massage, the technique was poor, effleurage and gliding was rough, lacking smoothness and the right touch, also no flow between moving from one area to another. Not spending enough time on each area. Hence the reason it was impossible for me to relax. Instead of giving a nice deep touch with a good pressure, the therapist kept pushing the skin down, which felt unpleasant. Aromatherapy was not good either, the presentation and massage itself was 2/5. Honestly it felt like I had a student therapist, which definitely was a surprise for me, not the best experience and service from the Spa which claims to be at award winning 5* Spa.

In the beginning, when you arrive to the spa, they give you a card to fill in your info, there was also a side where you write down the body areas you want get more treated pressure wise or you prefer to avoid. I specifically marked that lower belly has to be avoided. The therapist probably didn’t even check the card, because nothing was followed, and she kept pushing the belly in the wrong directions, which actually can lead to lymphatic issues. Same was with the legs, you never go downwards! Only up. Definitely need to educate therapists how to perform correct techniques. Do not recommend. Definitely check reviews and go to the nearby places with a cheaper...

We got the three hour pamper package, body scrub, massage and facial. I’ve had some serious back, leg and foot injuries but in the induction you can indicate what you want to concentrate on, what you want them to be delicate of or what you want to avoid altogether. They were really respectful and quite gentle during the whole process. You can choose what scrub you want and what oil, I really liked the tamarind and the inthanon oil. At the start you’re given tea and a cold wash cloth, underwear, a wrap to wear and you’re able to have a shower to wash the scrub off. The scrub made my whole body feel so soft. They’re quite thorough, the scrub is like an exfoliant but smells so lovely. I think the tamarind is a bit rougher than the apricot, but I liked the roughness because I felt like it did a more thorough job. The massage was great, like I said earlier as long as you indicate where you have sensitive areas they’re really good at highlighting and supporting the body. The facial was lovely, they give you a head massage to start before wrapping your hair so it doesn’t get any treatment in it. They have a part where they’ll put a deep moisturising lotion on and will need it to be on there for 15min, so they’ll leave and come back while it’s working. I have sensitive skin, which again you can let them know but there’s options for all skin types- oily, dry, normal, psoriasis or acne and they’ll adjust the treatment to suit. To finish, we were given mango sticky rice, crackers and ginger tea which were all really delicious and a nice way to end the session. Totally luxurious but if you’re wanting a real spa pamper session, I’d love to...

By far, the best massage that I’ve received in Thailand. Hom was amazing and knew exactly where my knots were. The atmosphere is also great and the welcome cold towel was greatly appreciated as well as the drinks and nibbles before and after.

Gorgeous massage combo, professional masseuse, and excellent place. I chose the combo: Feet massage, Thai massage, and Northern Massage (first time in the last one). The place feels fresh, harmonious and inviting. When you arrive they give you a refreshing towel and a cup of cold a nice Infusion. They give you a short form to be filled up with your preferences, possible conditions and specific requirements (for example: avoid my back). Then they send you to your massage room. There were three of us, so my two other friends shared the room and I had one room for myself. This was suitable because since the Northern Massage uses wood tools to "percussion" on you, it gets quite noisy. One in the assigned room, they give you clothes to put on whilst your massage takes place. It's worth no tone that the room is quite pretty (see pics). The masseuse spoke English well enough to communicate my needs, and she asked if everything was ok, for example the pressure, when needed. I truly enjoyed the three hour massage, the newness of the northern massage, the well experienced masseuse's treatment, and the nice atmosphere. Oh! And they give you another infusion and refreshing towel at the end of your massage... Namaste.
