After You Dessert Cafe @ Terminal21 — Restaurant in Khlong Toei Nuea Subdistrict

One of the dessert Cafe you can try, whenever you travel to Bangkok, Thailand or you are a big fan for dessert. Now they even have branches in Hat Yai, Southern Thailand.

Some of the Recommended:

1)Mango Sticky Rice Kakigori The Mango Kakigori was super soft in the outside, the texture was snowy & the mango taste a bit sweet & sour but not too sweet, while the sticky rice was chewy on the inside. Both combine together was a perfect match.

2. Strawberry Cheese Cake Kakigori The Strawberry Kakigori was another super soft dessert in the outside, the texture was snowy as well & the strawberry paste taste more sweet & sour compare to the Mango one, couple with the rich flavour of cheese cake in the inside of Kakigori. It was satisfied for the dessert lover.

3. Chocolate Toast with Banana One of their top seller, The toast is crispy on the outside and you can just spam the chocolate like nobody's business and the taste is perfect with the ice cream.

4. Thai Boba Caramel Tea The Boba Caramel Tea is ultra sweet with the fragrant milk tea. But, if you like something with super sweet & rich. Then, you should GO & TRY IT without hesitate ! No worries, You can get a few cups of flower tea for FOC later. Otherwise, do buy a bottle plain water or coffee to go with your desserts.

Overall, the dessert was nice, do try it when you in Thailand The price is a bit higher but it's worth it. Do avoid lunch & dinner time, weekend as well. It will be a long queue for 30...

After You Café remains one of my favorite dessert spots in Bangkok, especially for their creative takes on Thai sweets. While the food consistently impresses, the service experience could use a little more sweetness to match.

The Highlights: 🍨 Mango Sticky Rice Bingsu (5/5) - An absolute must-order! Perfectly balanced flavors with fresh mango and chewy sticky rice. 🍞 Signature Buttery Toast (5/5) - That heavenly aroma! Room for Improvement: ⚠ Staff Politeness - While efficient, the servers often seemed rushed and transactional. A warmer, more welcoming attitude would elevate the experience. ⚠ Wait Times - Popular spot means occasional crowds (come during off-peak hours if possible).

A very popular and wellknow dessert chain in bangkok. We will always come to this dessert store (as well as other branches in other location whenever we are in Bangkok). However for this visit, we had a rather disappointing experience at After You Cafe in Terminal 21.

Despite the small crowd and the cafe not being busy, many of the food items were out of stock, which was quite surprising for such a popular dessert chain. Even several drink options were unavailable, which felt unacceptable for a brand of this size and reputation in Bangkok. This show the staff did not make an effort to keep an eyes on the low stock item and ingredients. Therefore unable to order on time casing the running out of the food.

The standard of plating of the dessert in this outlet of Terminal 21 also seem to be deteriorating. It looks lowly graded and the portion has obviously shrunk in size.

To make matters worse, the staff were not apologetic at all. When informing us about the lack of items, they did so in a rather cold and indifferent manner, which only added to the overall negative experience.
