If you are on the lookout for a budget friendly and tasty North Indian vegetarian food in Phuket this is a good option. The restaurant was clean and service reasonably fast. Not too crowded as it is inside a lane and the ambience is not so great but nevertheless food was reasonably priced compared to other restaurants with adequate quantity. Most of the diners were Indians and were having their food from the same restaurant for second or third time which itself is a testimony to the quality of food. We had paneer amritsari butter naan butter roti chole bhature and all were good. We had a sweet and salty Lassi which was ok but the mango lassi we took was a dampener due to the unripe mangoes. Could have been thicker and creamier. All in all a good Indian restaurant (South Indian options available but didn't try out) in Phuket. Non vegetarian option not available maybe the reason for its low popularity. Read moreI recently dined at a local Indian restaurant that promised an authentic experience, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations.
The restaurant, while situated in a convenient location, had a non-AC setup, which made the overall ambiance less comfortable.
The food itself was below average. I ordered a variety of classic Indian dishes, but none of them left a lasting impression.
The hygiene was another significant concern. The tables and surrounding area didn’t seem very clean, and the staff didn’t seem to be paying much attention to maintaining the cleanliness of the dining space. Tissues, bottles of salt and paper were absolutely of cheap quality. Given the variety of better dining options available, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant unless you're in the area and don’t mind compromising on comfort,...
Read moreThe worst ever restaurant in overseas. After giving the order, I was jokingly talking to my friend that that Samosa in India is Rs 20 and here is almost Rs 400. On this point the man started shouting on us and was about to hit us. And considering the situation that we are in another country, we decided to leave the premises, and suddenly the man who took our order throw the menu in extreme aggression (as we had almost gave the order of 700 Baht). We were not able to understand that what's happening to him.
The person was very young and might be the owner's son, otherwise no one else could have gave the statement "aukat hai nhi aur jaane kaha se aa jaate hai". I felt really bad but I kept myself calm.
Please don't ever visit this restaurant, this place is dangerous and people...
