I am writing here to share about my unpleaseant experience during our stay in this hotel last week. We went to phuket in a big family group and we had booked 4 rooms. This hotel was recommended to us by Make my trip executive as we had booked our stay through them only. I would like to share about few important things related to services and safety so that it will help others in making decision whether to go for this property or not. First of all, the housekeeping staff was rude and was not at all cooperative and when we asked them to clean the rooms they simply refused and told us that they do it as per their convenience only. Despite that, only some and not all of our rooms got cleaned during the second day even as per their routine. On Rest of the days, all rooms were cleaned by them but not properly. There was no air conditioning in the lobbies on all the floors. Even the reception and restaurant area were not effectively air conditioned. The rooms are too old and air conditioning in rooms is also obsolete and ineffective. No shaving kit, toothbrush kit, soap bar was provided in the washrooms though you would expect such facilities from them though shower cap, liquid hand wash & shampoo was provided by them. Another strange thing that you would never expect is that they even refused to change towels during the day or to give extra towel as their policy was that they change towels only at the time of room cleaning. Once incident that happened during our stay was that a child got locked in her room while her family was in another room and she could not open the room herself and the room key was also inside. When her family requested the executive at the reception to send a master key to open the room, she refused to send anyone and instead asked them to come and collect the same from the reception and she was more concerned about her lock rather than for that little child so that the lock may not get damaged by inappropriate attempts by her family to open the door. Now most importantly, there is no security of your belongings in the room while you go out. We had left few used clothes in the room and did not store them locked in the luggage as one would never expect them to get stolen but it happened with us as Two items went missing from our room and when we asked the house keeping staff about it she acted too strange. Later, we found out that few cosmetic items were also missing from our other room. The Hotel reception was contacted and they expressed helplessness.
