rose and ray — Restaurant in Talat Noi Subdistrict

I went there with friends celebrating a birthday but got an unpleasant treatment from the staffs, slow responses and unequal service.

We were not allowed to use flash for photos, while others were. When we asked if a staff could take a group photo for us, she asked us to wait for over five minutes. We eventually decided to take the group photo ourselves, outside the restaurant but in a connected front room. Other customers had spent time there, but when we went in after them, the staff immediately informed us that it would be closing soon.

I’m unsure why we received this treatment, especially we paid nearly 5K THB and ensured we followed the restaurant’s regulations.

Unlike the reviews, the taste was quite good but the quantity compared to the reviews is obviously different. the atmosphere was not exceptional, dark and unwelcoming outside. We tried to understand this is a new restaurant, but we are still wonder by the poor service we experienced.

Could you please explain why we didn’t receive the same quality of service as other customers despite we also paid a 10%...

Rose & Ray certainly lives up to its name, offering a beautiful setting with cool lighting that creates a lovely atmosphere. It's a great spot for various occasions, whether you're out with family, friends, or on a date. The food here is truly impressive. We found the ingredients to be of high quality, and each dish was prepared thoughtfully. The burrata with tomatoes was incredibly fresh, and all the pasta dishes we tried were perfectly al dente with excellent flavor. For dessert, both the pistachio raspberry tiramisu and the chocolate mousse cake were delightful ways to end the meal. The staff also deserves a mention. They are consistently polite and attentive, which adds to the overall pleasant dining experience. Overall, Rose & Ray is a place worth visiting.
