Read moreWandering through the winding alleys of Bangkokâs Old Chinatown, where time seems to pause amidst weathered facades and whispered histories, I stumbled upon a hidden gem: 32Chocolate Bar & CafĂ©.
Itâs not the easiest place to findâmore a delightful treasure hunt than a straightforward journey. But as you meander through the labyrinthine lanes, a rusted, dilapidated car comes into view, standing proudly as the cafĂ©âs emblem. This vintage sentinel marks the spot, inviting curious souls to discover the charm within.
Inside, the cafĂ© offers a unique chocolate experience. Youâre welcomed to sample a variety of flavorsâcoconut, nutty, sweet, sour, and more. The highlight is a wooden box containing eight handcrafted chocolates of your choosing, each a testament to the cafĂ©âs commitment to quality and personalization. Itâs a rare concept, allowing patrons to tailor their chocolate journey.
The service is swift, and the staff exude warmth and friendliness, enhancing the overall experience. However, the space is quite intimate, accommodating only about 6 to 8 people comfortablyâ10 would be a tight squeeze.
In essence, 32Chocolate Bar & Café is a delightful fusion of nostalgia and flavor, offering a sweet retreat for those willing to explore its hidden corner of the city.

Out of the 9 varieties of chocolates, they only had 3 left and only the creamy drink version (the expensive one). I had reached there around 4pm so maybe they had run out because of unprecedented demand, but a thing for them to look into.
The chocolate bar and the drink are both delicious and they are charging a premium for the high quality they're offering. So just a thing for people to be aware of before they reach and be slightly shocked by the prices.
The location is for sure very insta-savvy and there are many photo spots over here. The look & feel has been carefully crafted to give off the run-down look of a garage with old auto spare parts which contrasts with the plexiglass section in the middle which is the actual shop.
There was just 1 guy doing everything right from telling about the chocolates, taking the order, billing it and making the drink as well. Multi-tasking was on full display. But must be damn tiring for the poor guy with not a single minute of rest as there was a continuous stream of people. He was a pleasant chap and serving everyone with a smile...
