We, a group of 4 couples, while planning for a Turkey tour approached few tour operators and found that as per their plans we are losing few days only travelling between cities and there were times when we were on our own as there were no activities. Hence thought of doing a private tour. Spoke to a friend who visited Turkey and he recommended Mr. Appo, who guided them in Istanbul. Since I was in India, contacted Mr. Appo on whatsapp. And together we prepared a tour plan of 8D/7N covering Istanbul and Cappadocia. From the time we landed, till departure, Mr. Appo was constantly guiding us and we visited all the important places at leisure and at our pace. Appo was gracious to accomodate our last minute plan changes. During our travel to Cappadocia, Appo ensured that Ms. Ozge accompanied us on this part of trip, which made airport transfer and Check-ins very smooth. Both Appo and Ozge are very knowledgeable about the history and culture as both are qualified and registered guides. Both are very warm, pleasant and courteous and were like a part of our group. On behalf of our group thank Appo & Ozge for making our trip a memorable one and wish them the very best. I have no hesitation to recommend Appo to anyone who wishes to have a guided tour of Turkey.

We, a group of 5 from Canada, visited Istanbul this fall. We arranged for a walking tour with Apoo (Abdullah) to soak in Istanbul new city at night - Apoo was knowledgeable and introduced us to several traditional tastings based on our preferences. We walked around several neighborhoods in the Beyoglu area (Pera, Taksim, Karokoi, etc ). Great recommendations for breakfast, lunch and dinners and we did visit each over the next few days. Apoo was also very friendly and littered in quite a bit of humor while providing a good amount of historical details. Apoo also helped plan and arrange for a guided tour of Kardokoi (Asian side) coupled with a Bosphorus cruise - we watched a Fener home game at a local pub with Fener fans in addition to several tastings. Finally, on our last day he guided us through the Basilica cisterns and Suleymaniye mosque (a true masterpiece by Sinan -- so so beautiful). Aside from the knowledge of the rich history, we really appreciated Appo for creating experiences based on our preferences and interests. We did meet as strangers but left Istanbul as friends!! Definitely recommend Appo to anyone looking for experiences off the beaten path (or even Istanbul must dos :)). Thank you Abdullah!

The most amazing 5 hours I spent in Istanbul. APO is such a knowledgeable, jovial and friendly person. His wealth of knowledge on Turkey and Istanbul is laudable. Being a foodie like myself, he took me for some delicious snacks at the famous Cia Sofrasi on the Anatolisn side. We visited the Topkapi palace, Basilica Cistern along with historical markets and Bazars. All tailor made to suit my interests. Would recommend him and his tours in a heartbeat.

Wow!! Highly recommend! What a wonderful experience we had with Apo as our tour guide. We were a group of 4 visiting Turkey for the first time and had a fantastic time! First of all, as a guide, Apo is professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and communicates complex historical information perfectly and effectively in English and Spanish. He is 100% committed to making sure everyone is happy, satisfied and safe. As an individual, he is fun (with a great sense of humor), interesting, flexible, and my word… does he have endless patience and energy!!! Couldn't ask for a better guide!! Apo was our guide for 9 days. We visited several cities that included air travel and van transport, and he was on top of everything to make sure our travel between cities and check in went smoothly. The tour included visiting historical archeological sites, beautiful mosques, famous landmarks, not to mention… walking the ‘off the beaten path’ streets of Istanbul, that if not for him, we would never have experienced. Apo gave us a solid understanding of the history and cultural importance of each site as well as a ‘local’s perspective’, which I loved!. He made sure to give us time to explore on our own, introduced us to great local places to eat and gave us tips on other spots to explore. Apo was always happy to answer our questions about visiting other neighborhoods (we stayed additional days on our own), or helping us translate in order to resolve currency/atm withdrawal confusion. Thank you Apo! We will never forget our beautiful experience in your...
