Erkan at Travel Store Turkey created the perfect itinerary for my mom and me! I reached out just three days before our trip, and we ended up booking only two days before departure. My mom is 85, so I asked for minimal walking — and Erkan absolutely delivered.
He organized everything: airport transfers, hotel (which even included breakfast), a two-day private guide (incredible), all entrance tickets with skip-the-line access, whirling dervish show, river cruise, and seamless logistics throughout. After booking, I realized we needed a Spanish-speaking guide, and he arranged that immediately without any problem.
I usually organize these kinds trips myself, but since it was a last minute trip, I decided to use a travel agent. SO GLAD WE DID!!! I will def use him again when we explore more of the country.
Also, I think the price of was well within reason for everything we got and received! All private transfers and tours which would have taken me ages to book myself. And no one has time for that anymore.
We even had a funny, random request — to visit filming locations from famous Turkish soap operas that are popular in Latin America — and Erkan managed to find the exact spots! Visiting those places ended up being both hilarious and really special for us.
The guide was wonderful, the drivers were punctual and kind, and every detail was perfectly planned. Erkan was patient, flexible, and incredibly attentive throughout the process. It turned out to be a once-in-a-lifetime trip my mom had always dreamed of — and we made it happen in just two days!
We spent four incredible days (Thursday to Sunday) exploring Istanbul, and everything exceeded our expectations. Erkan was always available on WhatsApp and so easy to communicate with. I couldn’t be happier — highly, highly recommend Travel...
Read moreQuite an intensive tour of the western part of Turkey. Was very well taken care of throughout the trip. Got two wonderful opportunities to try various Turkish dishes at buffet lunches on day 3 and 4. It was fascinating to learn about the meaning of ANZAC day commemorated in Australia and New Zealand with the visit to the Gallipoli peninsula. I was surprised with the various Greek and Roman archeological sites in Troy, Pergamon and Pamukkale as I always thought you have to visit Greece and Italy to see and learn about Greek and Roman ancient history. A lot of the sites were designated as World Heritage sites. Then the tour ended in Cappadocia with two days visiting the strange landscape of fairy chimneys, underground cities and strange rock formations. Unfortunately I was not able to go up in a hot air balloon to see the sunrise due to inclement weather conditions. However I did see a unique snowy landscape. The certified tour guides have university degrees in ancient Greek, Roman and Turkish cultures and history. Erkan from Travel Store was always there if you need help. We communicated with Whatsapp. My name was not on the list for pickup when I arrived back at Istanbul at 23:15! Contacted Erkan with Whatsapp and he sorted it out within 5 mins. Travel Store just put me on a private shuttle back to my hotel. I also got a refund for the cancellation of the hot air balloon ride. What a...
Read moreI had an excellent private sightseeing tour in Istanbul with Travel Store Turkey in September 2025. Since I was traveling solo, I really appreciated how the guide tailored the experience to my pace and interests.
The tour was very well organized, covering major landmarks like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar, while also including hidden gems that I might have missed on my own. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, sharing fascinating historical details and local insights in an engaging way.
What I enjoyed most was the flexibility—there was no rush, and I could ask as many questions as I wanted. The transportation was comfortable, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
Overall, this was a fantastic experience that made my solo trip unforgettable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Istanbul, whether solo...
