I joined Beechen in year 8 after leaving private school at Monkton Combe. I’m writing this now as a student at the end of my first year in sixth form. After a hard transition i really grew into a much more confident student taking full opportunity of all the activities offered to the school. If i had to choose between contributing private school or going to any other school that i have had experience with. I would choose Beechen. The other schools i have experienced such as Monkton don’t come within a quarter mile of Beechen Cliff. Students are allowed to reach their full potential and are given the independence to develop and grow into young adults. Read moreThe school has really made a lot of progress in the past 7 years, and I'm sure that it will continue to do so in the coming years. The majority of the staff are very caring and committed to their students, and the sixth form team especially are deserving of recognition. They've really helped me grow as a person over the past 2 years and have made a solid impact on my life. The boarding house is also unlike any I've seen, with the sense of a real family as soon as you step in, with boys from different years getting along in a manner that's very uncommon in an all boys school. I would recommend it to anyone.
