So two days ago I came in with a group of five or six to celebrate some good news, as soon as we walked in I saw Cody who works there and I’ve known for roughly five years, I’ve had my Christmas party in be at one (actually used to work with be at one myself) and have been served by him many times in Be At One. upon entering I immediately said hello how’re you doing to Cody only for him to be incredibly rude, as always. Very blunt and generally not pleasant at all to me or any of my friends. He then proceeded to ask me for ID. I’m 26. We have known each other a long time as I’m in the hospitality industry myself. He is very aware of my age. Everyone else in my party had ID but he refused to even let them stay if I left. Not wanting to feel any worse I left with them and we went on to spend over three hundred pounds in The next bar along that we would have most definitely spent in Be at One. This was solely because of Coreys very rude behaviour. I’ve worked in hospitality for over five years and have served him myself in framptons in bath, this felt very personal amd not professional in any way. Manners go a very long way and are a big part of what makes going to Be At One so special, it costs nothing and would’ve made all the difference to me and my friends as I’m very polite myself. We will certainly not be coming back and to anyone who asks I will be sure to inform them to watch out for Cody should they go in. Any form of reason or potentially a apology would be appreciated greatly. Maybe I’d even consider removing this review should he explain why he acted this way. I am very sad to say this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in any Be At One because every single other employee in every branch I’ve been to has been...
Read moreBe at One. This place is more like Be at One with being bankrupt. Because you will want to turn your personal savings account into a joint account so this venue can have quick and easy access to your money. The beverages are just that tasty.
The only improvement would be to have a 'yo sushi' conveyer belt type system so I can be fed these liquid delights without moving from my seat. Because you don't want to move from your comfy seat.
Seriously. Come here, or to any of the many locations around the UK and drown yourself in the hand crafted fluids. If I was told that I was going to be waterboarded but they were using a cocktail from this place. They wouldn't get any info from me because I'd be loving the experience to much to tell them my secrets. And when I told them my secrets all I would be hiding was the fact that Be at One Bath is a paradise hidden under stone arches.
My vegan mentor once told me " don't drink cocktails because they are made from the blood of the mixologist" well I would like Trent to politely go slap a cow (not to hurt it, it's a vegan expression, you have to be vegan to understand) because I watched these drinks make in front my eyes and I can confirm there was no blood and my drink was 100% vegan. These are the types of common misconceptions that give vegans a bad rep.
All in all if I could Be at One place, it...
Read moreShould be called the ‘WHAT NOW BAR !’ The staff are surly and unhelpful, the management more than happy to charge high prices for ok [ nothing special] drinks. In my experience customer service leaves a lot to be desired; one of my group was suddenly without any warning deemed unfit for a further drink because he was tipsy & slurred his words on speaking to the bar man, but all of a sudden as we dared to question said judgement the group as a whole were made to leave. On reflection maybe as I was drinking soft drinks at that time and the bar busy we were no longer profitable for the management and they wanted the table back.Or was it because we were a family and obviously a little older than the other rather tipsy clientele. Management would only converse via the barman & when I tried to approach a bouncer his response ‘ O what now’ ??? Unfortunately we had to return to collect my daughter’s bag to find bouncers blocking our entrance, honestly I was made to feel as if I was a real trouble maker , I’m nearly pension age , So charming! So if you’re a middle aged couple wanting to share an evening with your offspring , this venue is NOT The One!! BTW I only gave it one star in order to post , truly spoilt my evening if I could have given it minus...
